Paul Sarlo must be embarassed

State Sen. Paul Sarlo is struggling these days.  He lost a race for Majority Leader and got passed over for the Senate Appropriations Committee chairmanship.  Now, in a contest to pick New Jersey's Smartest Legislator, Sarlo has so far received the least number of votes of any of the 64 legislators in the first round -- he's losing to Assemblyman Gary Schaer -- his running mate -- by an 80%-20% margin. Weinberg's really working it

Supporters of State Sen. Loretta Weinberg has come from behind and now leads Senate President Dick Codey by a 51%-49% margin.  Codey has a much bigger base (that means clickers and reloaders in the Senate Majority Office), so Weinberg must be aggressively seeking votes.
