WEBBER FOR ASSEMBLY STEERING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT
Hanover's Bob Steiger Named

Morris Plains, NJ - The Webber for Assembly Campaign continues its work today with the announcement of yet another member of its Steering Committee, former Hanover Township Mayor Bob Steiger.

"I am honored to have Bob Steiger's support. Mayor Steiger is a virtual institution in Hanover, epitomizing a lifetime of service to his community," stated Jay Webber. "I look forward to campaigning with him to win this race and represent the interests of our citizens in the Legislature."

"I support Jay because he will bring a new and vigorous leadership that New Jersey so desperately needs," said Mayor Steiger. "I have seen Jay going door-to-door among my neighbors and listening to us. That refreshing brand of active and inclusive representation is why Jay Webber is my choice for Assembly."

Bob Steiger’s more than 44 years of public service in Hanover included 3 stints as Mayor, 6 terms on the Township Committee, and membership on the Planning Board and Recreation Commission. He and his wife Dorothy raised 5 children in Hanover.

Mayor Steiger joins Morris Plains Mayor and former Morris County Freeholder Frank Druetzler, Riverdale Borough Mayor William Budesheim, Florham Park pro-life leader Sean Flanagan, Morris Plains Councilwoman Suzanne McCluskey, Florham Park Mayor Frank Tinari, and the following Florham Park Council Members: Council President Charles Germershausen, Councilman Scott Eveland, and Councilman David Wikstrom as members of the Webber for Assembly Steering Committee.

The 26th District comprises 15 towns in Passaic and Morris Counties.
