Measure Would Provide Housing Assistance for Graduates of Transitional Housing Program

(TRENTON) - A Senate committee today released legislation Assemblywoman Nilsa Cruz-Perez  and Assemblyman David Mayer sponsored to dedicate a portion of the state's rental assistance to provide housing assistance for homeless veterans who complete a state-administered housing tutorial program.

(TRENTON) - Legislation Assembly members Paul Moriarty, David R. Mayer, and Nilsa Cruz-Perez sponsored to strengthen the state's prohibition against hand-held cell phones in cars and ban text messaging while driving was signed into law today by Governor Jon S. Corzine.

(TRENTON) - Assemblymen David R. Mayer, Patrick Diegnan, and Jack Conners have succeeded in enacting a new state law imposing criminal penalties for anyone who impersonates - with the intent to deceive - a member or veteran of the United States Armed Forces or the New Jersey National Guard either by wearing a uniform, medal, or insignia authorized for official military use.

Mayer, Patrick Diegnan, and Jack Conners sponsored that would make it a crime for any person to impersonate - with the intent to deceive - a member or veteran of the United States Armed Forces or the New Jersey National Guard either by wearing a uniform, medal, or insignia authorized for official military use.
