Latest PublicMind poll shows Corzine's approval ratings sideways

A Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind poll released today shows Gov. Jon Corzine’s approval rating at 40-41%.
In the school’s April poll, the governor stood at 44%-45% and in February, 42%-43%. In early January, before the legislative session began, he stood at 48% approving to 32% disapproving.
"The twists and turns of the budget process are under the radar of most voters," said poll director Dr. Peter Woolley. "In the end, it's the taxes they pay, the services they receive and the value of their homes that voters care about."
Other poll findings show that half of Democrats or 51% say the state is on the wrong track while just a third (33%) say the state is going in the right direction. Just a quarter of independents (23%) say the state is headed in the right direction while 69% say it's on the wrong track.
The Fairleigh Dickinson University poll of 608 New Jersey registered voters statewide was conducted from June 17 through June 22 and has a margin of error of +/- 4 percentage points.

Corzine's approval rating
Those polled by Fairleigh Dickinson's Public Mind Poll aren't the only NJ residents unhappy with Corzine's performance thus far. If NJ is on the "wrong track" under Democrat Corzine, according to the Democrats polled, imagine the serious implications for our state AND our country if Democrat Obama is sitting in the Oval Office. This is what nightmares are made of.
