Ms. Whitman is 1/2 right
Democrats /are/ willing to do what it takes to make sure Linda Stender wins.
but i dare say say.....
Democrats will also do what it takes to make sure Ms. Whitman /loses./
It's a subtle distinction Ms. Whitman will learn better if she manages to beat Sen. Lance. No small feat.
One thing seems certain: if this becomes a Stender/Lance tilt, the environment wins bigtime.
Well of course
She talks about never voting for raising taxes, and that Stender can't attack her record ...... Of course that is true because she HAS NO RECORD and NO EXPERIENCE in public office.
Then she talks about people purportedly campaigning against her mother and that she is different than her mother. If that is the case let's hear Kate Whitman say that her mother's policies were wrong and identify those things she did with which Kate disagrees or would do differently. Until she does that to distinguish herself from her mother she should stop mentioning her mother becuase what she is doing now is just trying to use the name and burn both ends of the candle.
Despite all the money she raised - which comes through her mother's circles and her liberal connections - she will not win the primary and she is just an extension of her mother.
Republicans beware of this candidate, we have seen it before.
Every time a Republican
decries "liberal special interests", I want to choke the bejesus out of them. These are the same people that they would love to receive money from just because they have money. Businesses are neither conservative or liberal. They are only pay-to-play.
The opposite is that any Republican uses the "GOP playbook". If this is the one that given this all this success over the years, its existence should have been terminated years ago.
Agreed
Nicely said AH--I agree fully.
Depending on a renown lineage, Kate Whitman shoots for the stars as she strives for national office--a little to high for her deficient experience and charisma.
