John Adler is the richest open seat congressional candidate in the nation, according to a report from Congressional Quarterly.
Adler, a Democrat, has approximately $1 million on hand in his quest for the open seat of retiring Republican Rep. Jim Saxton. Adler is unchallenged in the June 3rd Democratic primary, while three Republicans are enmeshed in a tough primary fight to take him on.
Meanwhile, 7th district Democratic candidate Linda Stender is the fourth richest open seat challenger, with about $845,000 on hand. Stender also faces no opposition in the primary, but there are seven Republicans competing for that party’s nomination, the richest of whom has amassed a little over one-third of Stender’s war chest.

GOP
With Adler taking in the big bucks, Kelly and Myers going at it spending all their money, a rich DCCC and a broke NRCC, John Adler is doing all the right things.
Adler
Big numbers equal a lot of air time. Current fundraising numbers for both R's isn't enough for a substantial ad buy in Philly market. Adler is running a strong campaign, and these numbers show it.
Adler
the Kelly/Myers race is the best thing that's happenned to the Adler campaign so far.
That GOP primary is worth more than his $1m.
Adler in good shape
Democrats have had the right candidates and the right message (expanding access to quality health care, promoting a clean environment, ending the resource-depleting war in Iraq, providing economic incentives to middle and lower class Americans) in NJ-03 for so long; but in the last election cycle, Democrats were outspend by at least 5-1, if not more.
Now the atmosphere is even better for Democrats, Saxton is no longer on the ballot, Republicans are using resources against one another in a primary and are already nearly 4-1 behind Adler, Adler will soundly defeat Kelly or Myers in a debate, Adler has received two massively important endorsements thus far, and Adler is working his tail end off in talking to voters in every town in NJ-03. Simply put, things couldn't be better at this point in the Adler campaign.
Kelly and Myers have raised
Kelly and Myers have raised $650,000 between them, and still can't get out of their respective backyards. However, Justin Murphy has the demonstrated ability to establish a base in both Ocean and Burlington Counties making him competitive at worst and maybe a slight lead at best. Kelly and Myers are wasting most of their money from their county and state contractual backings and turning off voters with negative attacks and public screaming matches.
McCain
McCain is going to carry 45 states including New Jersey. Barack Hussein Obama is the weakness Democrat nominee ever.
District 3 is a safe Republican seat regardless of how many of Adler's ex-boyfriends donate funds to his campaign.

Adler and Ads
>>>Current fundraising numbers for both R's isn't enough for a substantial ad buy in Philly market.<<<
No ad is more valuable though than Adler's mention in The Soprano State by Bob Ingle :)
The R's best weapon
Corzine!
lol
Once again, thanks for the laugh Calpernial. You are starting to sound as delusional as Alice. Justin Murphy has "demonstrated the ability to establish a base in both Ocean and Burlington Counties making him competitive at worst and maybe a slight lead at best"? Are you serious? Raising only $8,000 with a loan to himself and $3,000 in debt is demonstrating an ability to "establish a base" and make him competitive? Keep dreaming. Duncan Hunter's money is being spent well by Chris.
An Adler Republican Friend
He can raise the necessary funds with the support of the boss. Tough to say if the Burlington County Republican Organization can come together with Bill Layton; it's up to him to show his leadership qualities! Adler's strong support of the smoking ban in privately owned restaurants, and Casinos where he probably never visits, unless there's a convention, was totally absurd and an outright scam. However, he's a down to earth kinda guy who could win with Laskin's Republican support. My guess? He'll win!
McCain's 100-year War
Hey CAMDENBEER1, If McCain wins then his 100-year war only has 94 more years until it's over. What branch of the US Military are you from?
