HAMILTON - Assemblyman Bill Baroni (R-Mercer/Middlesex) today received the first candidate endorsement of 2007 from the New Jersey Firemen’s Mutual Benevolent Association, which represents over 106 Fire and EMS locals and 5,000 career firefighters and their families.
“I am humbled and honored to be the first candidate to have the support of an organization that represents the people who dedicate their lives to keeping our families safe,” said Baroni. “I am proud to stand with the men and women who protect our communities and I look forward to continuing to work to support our emergency service personnel and their families, and continuing to fight to keep our community safe.”
“Few legislators have worked as hard as Bill Baroni to support firefighters and emergency service personnel,” remarked FMBA President Bill Lavin. “We commend his commitment to firefighters and are proud to enthusiastically issue our first endorsement this year to Bill Baroni for State Senate. We look forward to supporting him in the campaign ahead.”
Baroni is campaigning to represent the 14th District, including the towns of Cranbury, Hamilton, Jamesburg, Monroe, Plainsboro, South Brunswick, and West Windsor in the State Senate.
