I guess so far, as of 4:26pm... it's a draw

anyone objective out there?

How anyone could think a freshman governor from Alaska rather than someone whose been in a local media market for three decades somehow helps in New Jersey is beyond me. Biden has been a constant presence in N.J. and is claimed by both Pa and N.J. as each respective state's third senator.

08/29/08 7:01 pm

Yes Martin, here it is

Governors are more experienced than Senators. Just look at Corzine he sucked as a Senator and cant hack it as a Governor. Biden never ran a private ompany let alone a town , County, a district or state. Biden will be linked to the failure of Corzine. end of story.

McCain

If Governors are more experienced than Senators, shouldn't Palin be running for President rather than SENATOR McCain...not a good argument.

08/29/08 9:34 pm

Yes

Fed up hit the nail on the head.

She certainly has more experience than both Obama and Biden combined, neither of whom have ever run anything more than a committee hearing.

Palin is a featherweight

The Alaskan Governor has no name recognition in New Jersey (as a matter of fact, no one in the "lower 48", as she likes to say, has ever heard of her). Palin is Governor of a state with a population of about 670,000. That is less than the population of many New Jersey counties. Bergen alone boasts nearly one million people. Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney may be more qualified to be VP than Sarah Palin. And that's scary!

New Jersey is Joe Biden's backyard. He is the favorite cousin. He helps Obama in NJ far more than Palin assists McCain. And with Palin's super right-wing anti-choice conservatism, she turns off most New Jersey voters anyway.

Joe Biden is a PIG and the country would be better off if he just went back to that LARGER than New Jersey Hole called Delaware.

He is even worse than Obamme and that Angry Black Women wife of his and we would see the continuance of this country's social and economic downfall if elected.

And lastly, Who the Hell in this country cares about what the Corrupt, Useless, people of New Jersey say or do as Martin 123465567989654785 above proves, as a good example of Stupidity and the Mindless.

PALIN ???

Go ahead and fall in love with Sarah Palin if you like anti-choice, pro-creationism Republicans. But please do NOT try to tell us her virtue is her experience. Instead, acknowledge that experience isn't everything.

As for you MadMax, your "angry black woman" shtick is racist and demeaning. You can't make something true just by repeating it over and over though the success of rightwing talk radio would suggest otherwise. You want to find a "PIG," look in the doggone mirror.

Delaware or Alaska helps more in NJ?

Delaware. Duh?

(but I think its not much at all)

08/30/08 10:55 am

So here's the bottom line.

If having an abortion is so important to you, don't vote for her.

Meanwhile, the difference between her and McNerney is about 100 IQ points.

Without Joe F., Dennis is like a fish with no head. The body quivers, but the brain is gone.

Meanwhile Alaska has just about the same population as --- Delaware.

Now what is it again that makes Joe Biden qualified to be Vice President???

Beck & Palin

Jennifer Beck whipped Ellen Karcher. Guess you diehards haven't seen bumper stickers in Alaska that read: "Coldest State, Hottest Governor". Partisan or not, you all must agree that all four are the worst. Now out of the two parties, who do you want? An empty suit with a big mouth or a US Veteran with a "hottie"? I'll vote McCain over "black liberation theology" anyday! Food for thought. Madmax, you're not too far off the mark. If they hate America so much, move back to you know where!

NITWITS

First it's the angry black woman rant and now it's "black liberation theology."

It's too bad that some of you are uncomfortable with the idea that an African American could lead -- or love -- this country.

08/31/08 6:45 am

INDY / Mulloy proven wrong again

Condi Rice, Walter Williams,JC Watts, Ward Connerley, etc etc all perfectly qualified African Americans would be nominated in a heart beat. The Rev Write Hate speech wont fly in America. Now on to Palin. Any woman who can take on corruption in her own part any win is a winner in my book. Unlike Corzine and Biden who eat , and drink from the Joe Ferriero cool aid troff

08/31/08 9:19 am

BOGUS

"would be nominated in a heartbeat" except for one thing: they WEREN'T!

As for someone who can "take on corruption in her own part any win" (I think I know what you're trying to say--pressing the right keys can be really hard to do), sure we can give her credit for that. No one is arguing that Palin is a COMPLETE dolt. Just that she's a lightweight, gimmicky, desperation pick from a guy who'd rather be seen as a bold gambler than someone who looks at his own age and medical history and, to coin a phrase, puts country first.

08/31/08 12:46 pm

Palin wins

Indy ? I would bet on Palin the Gov against your community Activist / Chameleon anyday. We will see just who are the complete dolts soon and I bet that its the party that aborts Down syndrom babies and that puts the opinions of third world UN tyrant tinpots over our Republic. Palin will put America 1st not the wishes of our Foreign/ and domestic enemies ( Like yourself)

Amazing

I've been looking around the site today and I can't help but laugh at the crazies that have popped up here attacking Gov. Palin so irrationally. It further cements the fact that this was an absolutely brilliant move on Sen. McCain's part. It seems as though neither the Obama campaign, nor his rabid supporters really know how to handle this.

I don't even really think we've begun to fathom just how big we've trumped the Obama people with this pick.

First of all, the McCain/Palin ticket, a legislator/executive combination, is a far better balance than two senators with zero executive branch experience. This is why Obama made a fatal error by not choosing Gov. Tim Kaine as his runningmate. Kaine was the perfect choice and Obama spit the bit by picking not only another Senator, but a flat out dud in Joe Biden. If I were an Obama donor, I would want a sabotage investigation conducted.

Second, libs have to accept the fact that there are many (not all) women throughout the nation that are going to vote for a ticket with a woman on it regardless of her politics because there will always be those who will vote for one of their own. Just as Barack Obama receives support from ninety two percent of black voters, the McCain/Palin ticket will no doubt, receive a far greater deal of support from women than a Republican ticket would normally receive.

Finally, if the Obama people try too hard to attack Gov. Palin, it is going to keep alive, a lot of hurt feelings among women voters, many of whom resent Obama, the media and Howard Dean over how they feel Hillary Clinton was treated.

I believe the late great Karen Carpenter said it best, We've Only Just Begun!
