The Bergen County Republican Organization reports that for the first time in almost five years, they will begin the campaign cycle with no debt. That’s a feather in the cap of Robert Ortiz, who became County Chairman last June after the embattled Guy Talarico resigned. The BCRO is pledging to mount the “largest countywide campaign in recent memory” as they seek to re-elect County Clerk Kathleen Donovan and compete for three seats on the Board of Freeholders.
The BCRO has scheduled their party convention for Thursday, March 6 – which will pit the three GOP candidates for United States Senate – Anne Evans Estabrook, Joseph Pennacchio, and Murray Sabrin – in a key contest for the Bergen organization line.

Now all they need to do is get rid of the Mausoleum
Ever been in that place? It's a monument to dead politicians. This type of headquarters went out of style in the 1970s.
LOL...
Maybe I can go in my leisure suit. It is nice for big events though, it just needs an update. I'm sure Mowers and Ortiz will get around to that.
As long as they remember populist South Bergen and dont run an elitist race about pay to play, times are ripe for a GOP win. McCain will also be very competitive in Bergen.
HQ
Well..they are stuck with it until the lease goes up in June so it'll be interesting to see what happens then.
The place does have it's benefits for event holding..that being said it's probably just cheaper to get a small place and just use other places for events.
BCRO is still a joke
Dems win those Freeholder seats by 10%+.
