In Bergen County, it's not good to be a Republican Freeholder

Two of the last three Republican Freeholders from Bergen County have been denied party support for re-election to a second term. In 2004, Louis Tedesco lost his bid for a second term amidst allegations that he had been arrested twice on domestic violence charges. Yesterday, Lisa Randall, elected to the Board of Freeholders in 2003 after serving in Governor Christie Whitman's cabinet as Commissioner of Banking and Insurance and as a State Assemblywoman, lost the Republican primary. Democrats have a 7-1 majority on the Freeholder Board.

Ginty is nobody's boy. You elected the boy and he'll go the way

Ginty is nobody's boy. You elected the boy and he'll go the way of Forrester. I will not have about 25,000 votes that a Republican would receive.

RinoHunter, I didn't elect him - I'm a registered D and voted in

RinoHunter, I didn't elect him - I'm a registered D and voted in the D primary - I voted for Menendez, Stender, and an insurgent freeholder slate (which lost). However, I'm a big supporter of what you're advocating - I hope ALL Republicans stay home in November - not just you and your 25,000 friends (although every little bit will help, so thank you!).

PS: If you're not supporting your R candidate, then aren't YOU the republican-in-name-only? I think you can stop hunting!

can you support someone who panders to illegals ??
Someone who cherry picks the bill of rights ???
Someone who puts the Hudson county machine over the security of our Republic ?
Someone who is driving NJ seniors and employers to N Carolina with higher and higher taxes??

TruthDetector, to answer your questions, I don't support someone

TruthDetector, to answer your questions, I don't support someone who does any of those things. But at this point, sending more Bush supporters to Washington can't be qualified as anything but gross criminal negligence.
