Monmouth Junction, NJ - Today the Communication Workers of America Local 1031, which represents 3,700 members throughout New Jersey, issued their endorsement for Bill Baroni (R-Hamilton) in the race for State Senate in the 14th Legislative District.

CWA 1031 President John E. Rose said that his organization strongly supported Baroni's run for State Senate.

"As a member of the Assembly Higher Education committee, Bill Baroni has stood by the members of CWA 1031 time and again," said Rose. "I have no doubt that he will continue to work hard to support higher education workers when he represents us in the State Senate."

Baroni praised the members of CWA 1031 for their work for better wages and benefits for higher education workers.

"I commend the members of CWA local 1031 for their leadership to advance the cause of fair wages and safe working conditions for our higher education workers," said Baroni. "It is an honor to receive their endorsement and I look forward to continuing to support them in the State Senate."

The 14th Legislative District includes the towns of Cranbury, Hamilton, Jamesburg, Monroe, Plainsboro, South Brunswick, and West Windsor.
